Eco Bini™ LAB-X Serum is a refined, high-performance Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) concentrate developed for rapid biological deployment. While dry multi-species inoculants help establish long-term soil biology, LAB-X delivers an immediately active liquid consortium designed to accelerate beneficial microbial activity.

Developed through successive whey enrichment from a parent lab EM culture and osmotically stabilized with dextrose, LAB-X selectively favours lactic acid bacteria while reducing many non-lactic microorganisms. The result is a stable biological concentrate with a built-in carbohydrate source that rapidly acidifies suitable environments, helping beneficial microbes outcompete many putrefactive organisms responsible for foul odours.

The “X” represents the diverse consortium of lactic acid bacteria traditionally associated with yoghurt, cheese, silage, sourdough and fermented meat production. This broad-spectrum microbial community provides excellent adaptability across a wide range of biological and fermentation applications.

Quick Application Rates

LAB-X introduces a concentrated population of beneficial lactic acid bacteria directly into the application area. Once diluted, the dextrose immediately becomes an energy source, allowing the microorganisms to establish rapidly and begin biological activity.

• LAB Inoculant: Mix 2 tablespoons (30ml) per litre of liquid to establish a vigorous lactic acid fermentation. LAB-X provides a concentrated inoculum of live lactic acid bacteria together with an immediately available carbohydrate source to support rapid microbial establishment.
• Living Soil & Soil Drench: Mix 10ml per 10 litres of rainwater or dechlorinated water. Apply directly to the root zone to encourage beneficial microbial activity and healthy nutrient cycling.
• Foliar Spray: Mix at 1:1000 (5ml per 5 litres of rainwater). Spray foliage during the early morning, late afternoon or after rainfall to establish a beneficial microbial population on leaf surfaces.
• Bokashi & Fermentation: Apply 5ml per kilogram of kitchen waste to introduce active lactic acid bacteria and encourage rapid, low-odour anaerobic fermentation.
• For Bokashi Bran, dilute 15ml per litre of rainwater before moistening the bran.
• Compost & Worm Farms: Dilute 10ml per 10 litres of water and thoroughly wet compost heaps, worm bins or organic waste piles to help restore healthy microbial activity and reduce unpleasant odours.
• Drains & Grease Traps: Dilute 5ml per litre of water and pour into drains, grease traps or greywater systems to assist the biological breakdown of accumulated organic residues and help reduce odours.
• Seed Inoculant: Soak seeds for up to 12 hours using a dilution of 10ml per 10 litres of rainwater to encourage beneficial microbial colonisation during germination.

Why is LAB-X Stabilized with Dextrose?

Unlike freeze-dried cultures, LAB-X is preserved using a concentrated dextrose solution.

The high sugar concentration reduces available water, placing the bacteria into a dormant, stable state for long-term storage. Once diluted, the same carbohydrate immediately becomes an available energy source, allowing the bacteria to reactivate and begin multiplying without requiring pre-activation.
