The STS Recommended Media Mix:

• 20L River Sand: Drainage & Aeration.

• 12L Compost: Organic Foundation.

• 3L Vermiculite: Moisture Retention.

• 3L VermiCHARged Bam: The Terra Preta “Biological Engine.”

Quick Instructions:

1. Fill: Mix media and fill bag to 20cm depth.

2. Plant: Place seed potatoes and cover with 10cm of mix.

3. Hilling: As plants grow, continue adding media to cover stems until the bag is full.

4. Boost: No Vermicompost? Increase compost to suit and use VitaVermi BAM! to introduce the microbes.

Pro-Tip (Alpha2Omega): Since root crops (Ginger, Wasabi, Carrots) can’t sit in standard hydroponic flood systems, use Alpha2Omega (15ml per 5L water) every 7-10 days to give them hydroponic-level yields in a soil-based bag.
