Feed • Fortify • Defend

🌱 Feed

VermiLIN supplies living beneficial microorganisms together with naturally occurring plant nutrients that support healthy leaves, roots and soil biology.

🧄 Fortify

LAFEGE is produced by fermenting Elephant Garlic using selected lactic acid bacteria before careful filtration and osmotic preservation. This process produces a stable botanical extract rich in garlic-derived compounds, complemented by peppermint essential oil.

🛡 Defend

Pure Castile Soap helps the spray spread evenly across leaf surfaces, improving coverage and helping the biological and botanical ingredients remain where they are needed.

Research That Informed Shield BAM!

Shield BAM! is an original Eco Bini formulation. It is not a copy of any published recipe. Instead, its design draws on multiple areas of peer-reviewed agricultural research relating to vermicompost microbiology, garlic-derived botanical extracts and essential oils used within Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

The publications below investigate individual biological mechanisms that helped guide the development of Shield BAM!.

Publication How it relates to Shield BAM!
Garlic Extract on Cutworm

Garlic + Peppermint Botanical Synergy

This study investigated several essential oils against cutworm larvae and found garlic oil to be among the most effective botanical treatments tested. The combination of garlic and peppermint demonstrated enhanced activity compared with several individual oils, supporting the inclusion of both ingredients within Shield BAM!’s botanical component.

Chitinase gene diversity of vermicompost

Vermicompost Microbiology

Research demonstrates that high-quality vermicompost contains rich and diverse microbial populations, including organisms associated with nutrient cycling and suppression of certain plant pathogens. This forms the biological foundation behind VermiLIN.

Garlic Extract on Aphid Control

Garlic Extract Against Aphids

Field research has shown concentrated garlic extracts can reduce aphid populations under agricultural conditions. These findings support garlic’s use as one component within an Integrated Pest Management strategy alongside good cultural practices.

Our Development Philosophy

Rather than depending upon a single active ingredient, Shield BAM! combines several complementary technologies:

Together these components create a stable biological concentrate that feeds plants, supports beneficial microorganisms and complements an integrated approach to natural garden care.

The Science

How Shield BAM! Works

Shield BAM! combines biological and botanical ingredients to support healthy plants through multiple complementary mechanisms.

🌱 Biological Support

VermiLIN™ introduces a diverse population of beneficial microorganisms derived from premium vermicompost extracts. These organisms contribute to a healthy phyllosphere and rhizosphere while supporting natural nutrient cycling.

🧄 Botanical Fortification

LAFEGE™ is produced by fermenting Elephant Garlic with selected lactic acid bacteria before filtration. The resulting botanical extract contains naturally occurring garlic-derived compounds, complemented by peppermint essential oil.

🛡 Surface Coverage

Natural Castile Soap improves leaf wetting and spray coverage, helping the biological and botanical ingredients spread evenly across plant surfaces.

Integrated Garden Care

Rather than relying on a single active ingredient, Shield BAM! combines biological and botanical technologies as part of an integrated approach to maintaining healthy, resilient plants.
