The SafeSteri BioJar is a professional-grade Mushroom Master Spawn Jar built for the serious mycologist. This isn’t a modified food/Ball jar; it’s a specialized 320ml Genetic Vault based on our laboratory-grade Media Jars, pre-filled with Hydrated Sterilized Sorgum Grain.

🛡️The Triple-Shield Filtration System:

1. Primary Barrier: 0.25µm ePTFE hydrophobic internal sticker for high-efficiency, sterile gas exchange.

2. Secondary SMS-Tape: The Primary is filter is ‘double-located’ with non-woven SMS-Tape – with a 98%-99% BFE rating due to meltblown later – but GE exceeds 2,500 g/m²/24h, ensuring that CO₂ and O₂ exchange occurs freely without pressure buildup.

3. Tertiary Craft Shield: External guard for dust/water protection in and after sterilization – and easy species/generation labeling.

STS Sterility Guarantee:

Each BioJar goes through a rigorous hydration and sterilization 3-step protocol:

1. Sorghum is soaked in 500ppm SteriPmax PAA solution to kill external vegetative contaminants and spores.
2. Biojars are Sterilized in Autoclave at 15 PSI for 90 minutes – to give squeaky clean grain media.
3. Each BioJar undergoes a 7-day quarantine at our Sustainability Testing Station to ensure it is 100% clean before it ships. Fully autoclavable and designed to replace hundreds of single-use plastic bags.

Usage Tips:

• For Mother Spawn: Fill with 200ml of dry Red Sorghum, hydrate, and sterilize. The small grain size combined with the BioJar’s filter provides explosive colonization rates. For commercial spawn inoculate at 15ml [tablespoon] per kg hydrated sterilized spawn.

• Autoclave Note: As with all sealed vessels, loosen the cap a quarter-turn before autoclaving to allow for pressure equalization, then tighten once cool to engage the Positive Seal.

• Labeling: Features a Craft external label for easy labeling of species, strain, and generation (G1/G2).
