Corms – Elephant Garlic’s Survival Mechanism
(30+1) Cormlets in a Breathable Tub

Whole Elephant Garlic in a Simple Use Format

Kashmiri Pearl Poppers are organically grown Elephant Garlic cormlets designed for survival, dormancy, and regrowth.

Kashmiri Pearl Poppers are small, hardy Elephant Garlic cormlets (also known as Snow Mountain Garlic or Ek Pothi Lahsun). Packed with stable sulfur compounds like SAC and high levels of saponins, these β€œpearls” offer a potent, easy-to-use whole-food garlic format. Traditionally used raw for immune support, circulation, and vitality at high altitudes, they combine the resilience of corms with convenient daily dosing. Includes our signature Thermal Shock peeling method for effortless prep.

Simple Use:

It is known for its high potency and is traditionally consumed raw on an empty stomach for simple whole-food benefits.

Traditional Use: 1 cormlet every 3 days as part of a normal food routine.

The Thermal Shock Peeling Method

Because cormlets are built for survival, their outer husks are tough and tightly bound.
Use this quick temperature contrast to release the skin easily:

1.The Hot Swell:1 to 2 Minutes.

Drop the cormlet into boiling water for 60 to 120 seconds. The heat causes the internal moisture to expand slightly, stretching and softening the tough outer tunic.

2.The Cold Punch:Immediate Drop.

Transfer the cormlet immediately into cold or iced water. The sudden temperature drop rapidly shrinks the internal tissue while the husk remains stretched, breaking the bond between them and loosening the skin.

3.Peel & Choose Your Format:Ready to Consume.

Slice through the softened base of the husk and slide the cormlet out. From here, choose your intake style based on your wellness goals.

Store in a cool, dark cupboard. Can be frozen.

Intake styles

a) Standard:

Peel and consume whole. Suitable for those who prefer a mild garlic experience.

b) Activated Preparation (Enhanced EnzymaticΒ Β Allicin Profile)

Garlic contains natural sulfur compounds that are activated when plant tissue is disrupted. These compounds are very volatile and difficult to replicate. Crush the peeled cormlet and allow to air for 10–15 minutes before consumption. This step enhances natural enzymatic conversion processes responsible for garlic’s characteristic active compounds.

Why Elephant Garlic Corms?

Elephant Garlic corms are part of the plant’s survival and propagation system, designed for resilience and long-term survival. They:

  • store well over time under dry conditions
  • are easy to portion and use
  • provide a simple whole-food garlic format
  • are organic, natural and dense.

Product Notes

This is a raw agricultural food product. Variations in size, shape, and internal structure are natural.

No additives, processing agents, or preservatives are used.

Study

Laboratory studies on Elephant Garlic and related Allium have shown sustained antifungal activity in in-vitro assays over extended time periods (up to 48 hours in controlled conditions) when compared to conventional garlic cloves.

This reflects differences in phytochemical composition, including stable sulfur-containing compounds such as S-allyl-L-cysteine (SAC), alongside saponins and glycosides identified in analytical profiling.

Key Insight:
Elephant garlic shows higher saponin and glycoside expression, while normal garlic shows relatively higher alkaloid presence.

πŸ”¬ Key Experimental Findings

  • Activity is dose-dependent across all Candida species
  • Elephant garlic corms show consistently higher sustained activity at 48 hours
  • Normal garlic shows rapid decline in activity after 24h (especially at lower concentrations)
  • Strong correlation between activity and polar phytochemicals (SAC + saponins)
