STC-3028 High-Humidity Temperature & Humidity Controller (220V AC)
Take total control of your environment with the STC-3028 Dual Controller (STS High-Humidity Mod). While standard factory controllers use exposed sensors that “drown” and freeze at 92.9% RH, every STS unit is custom-upgraded before dispatch with our AHT30-F modification.
We open the sensor probe and apply a professional-grade 0.25µm ePTFE (expanded Teflon) hydrophobic membrane directly over the high-precision digital AHT30 chip. This creates an absolute physical barrier that blocks liquid mist from ultrasonic humidifiers while remaining 100% permeable to water vapor, ensuring real-time, continuous tracking up to 99% RH without freezing, failing, or drifting.

Note: The upgraded sensor probe is fully water-resistant and protected against high humidity, but the main STC-3028 controller unit itself is not waterproof. Always mount the display unit safely outside your high-humidity grow tent or chamber.
STC-3028 Mounting & Installation
The STC-3028 is designed for clean, embedded panel mounting into control boxes, incubators, or grow room walls.
Step 1: Create the Panel Cut-out
- Cutout Dimensions: 71 mm wide x 29 mm high.
- Front Bezel Dimensions: The front face of the controller is slightly larger (75 mm x 34.5 mm) to cleanly overlap and hide the cutout edges.
Step 2: Mount and Secure
- Push the STC-3028 housing directly into your panel cutout from the front side.
- Slide the included orange plastic mounting clips along the sides of the chassis from the back until the unit is locked firmly flush against the panel.
Step 3: Electrical Connections
Safety Warning: Always disconnect power before doing any wiring work to prevent shock.
- Power Supply: Connect your 220V AC mains line to terminals 1 and 2.
- Sensor Probe: Connect the 4-wire sensor connector to its dedicated terminals on the back.
- Relay Outputs: Terminals 3 & 4 control your Temperature device (Heater/Cooler), and terminals 5 & 6 control your Humidity device (Humidifier/Extractor).
