Most conventional garlic extracts simply soak crushed garlic in alcohol or glycerine before bottling. LAFEGE (Lactic Acid Fermented Enzyme-Activated Garlic Extract) follows a completely different philosophy.

Developed at the Sustainability Testing Station (STS), LAFEGE combines controlled enzyme activation with proprietary LAB-X lactic acid fermentation to produce a unique alcohol-free botanical extract from organically grown Elephant Garlic (Allium ampeloprasum).

Rather than relying on solvent extraction alone, LAFEGE uses beneficial microorganisms to naturally transform the garlic into a complex botanical preparation. Controlled fermentation gently modifies the garlic matrix, naturally preserves the extract, and produces a smooth, pleasant elixir that captures the essence of Elephant Garlic in a convenient liquid form.

Every batch is crafted in small quantities using our own organically grown Elephant Garlic, carefully harvested, low-temperature dried for year-round production, and fermented using the proprietary STS LAFEGE process.
